Serenity 68 World Debut Sydney International Boat show
The all new Serenity 68
Long
Range Motor Yacht made its World Debut at the
Sydney International Boat Show 31st July to 5th August 2008.
In designing the Serenity 68, Cheoy Lee has taken the concept of an economical, efficient and seaworthy hull and broken away from the traditional trawler or expedition styling. The fresh new look was developed by David Bentley Industrial Design
Australia . High Modulus in
New Zealand engineered the structural design to Germanischer Lloyd class standards, with interior design by Sylvia Bolton in
Seattle .
With the Serenity 68, Cheoy Lee has produced an efficient, comfortable, roomy and safe sea-going vessel that can just as easily cross oceans as meander along the Australian coastline. The fuel efficient twin Caterpillar C7, 315 hp engines provide an impressive cruising range while sipping about 30 litres per hour; an important factor with today’s fuel prices.
The first Serenity 68 – hull 4960, fitted out with many optional extras was sold at the end of 2008 and is now in her new home in Adelaide.
