The first all-new Serenity 68 Long Range Motor Yacht made its world debut at the Sydney International Boat Show.
The 2nd S68 hull has already been delivered and sold.
The SERENITY SERIES is set to become the new long-distance cruising fleet of the world.
Available towards the end of 2011 will be the S68 with the lazarette stern. This new layout will also incorporate within the hull envelope the steps from the swimboard up to the aft-deck.
There is an access door from the swim platform direct into the lazarette and from there direct into the engine room. The lazarette is great for storage, 'water toys', diving equipment and can be fitted out to suit clients requirements. Two crew bunks can even be included.
Standard arrangement is storage shelves and cabinet.
New SERENITY 59:
Although smaller, having less displacement and therefore still more frugal than its larger sisters, the Serenity 59 retains all the advantages of the larger vessels.
Indeed it is hard to notice any real difference until the vessels are side-by-side.
The aft lazarette, three-stateroom layout plus separate office/communications area layout is clever.
The busy business owner can be away 'forever' and still be in touch with the world running his 'global empire'.
Further, family and friends do not intrude into the private layout.
BRAVO Range Additions:
The new hulls, Bravo 78 and the Bravo 88 are now completed. The first Bravo 78 has undergone its sea-trials off Miami in strong blustery winds and cross seas. There is a write-Up/Test Report in Newsletter VOL (TBA)
'Our Adrian', was on the trial vesssel and was duly impressed.
The Bravo Range are semi-displacement hulls designed for comfort and economy NOT for top speed.
Patrol Range:
Cheoy Lee Shipyards do however build REAL SPEED vessels. These are offered as the Patrol Range, the two standard sizes being 13.7m. and 14.9m.
The Patrol 13.7 comes standard as a single-engined vessel with a top speed around 24 knots.
The Patrol 14.9 is standard twin-engines and, if you like, you can have 45 knots plus!
You need seat-belts.
Configuration is generally custom design to suit the client and use.
